FTP transmits credentials and data in plain text. Anyone on the same network can intercept them. We support SSH with SCP and rsync only — both encrypted, both secure. If your workflow requires FTP, we're probably not the right host for you.

On Sovereign plans, yes. We can place your dedicated server in your preferred US state or region. Colonist and Pioneer plans run on our primary US infrastructure.
